soldiers martyred in LOC shelling

MUZAFFARABAD: Indian brutality exposed once again on Wednesday when at least nine civilians and three Pakistan Army soldiers lost their lives in unprovoked firing and shelling by Hindu extremist army on the Line of Control in Kashmir region.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Captain Taimur, Hawaldar Mushtaque, and Lance Naik Ghulam Hussain embraced martyrdom when Indian army targeted Pakistani positions at Kotli Sector with heavy firing and shelling.

Pakistan Army said the Indian troops fired shells on a passenger coach, killing nine persons and injuring at least 15 others near Line of Control in Neelum valley’s Dhudnial area.

In retaliation by Pakistani forces, ISPR said, seven Indian soldiers were killed and several Indian check posts were destroyed.

India continued its unprovoked firing on all sectors along the LOC including Shah Kot, Jura, Buttal, Kairla, Bagh, Tatta Pani, Neelum Valley and Keran sectors where the enemy  targeted villages and army positions of Pakistan.

Pakistani troops effectively responded as intense exchange of fire continued the entire day, inflicting heavy loss on the enemy.
